Yes the espresso Charge supports fast charging up to 50W.
You can charge it via your host device (USB-C cable included) if it is plugged into a wall charger, or via a wall adapter (not included).
Charging time is dependent on the charging method, however it will typically take up to 3-4 hours.
By integrating espresso’s proprietary desktop software with espresso Charge, users will be able to track their battery power and performance through espressoFlow. We want to ensure that we do everything possible to help our customers fine-tune their experience by giving them visibility and control of their experience - including battery power.
We recommend connecting espresso Charge to your host device to get the benefits of smart power management with espressoFlow, however you can connect directly to the espressoDisplay, and it will provide pass-through power back to your host device. This will also give you access to 100% brightness on the espressoDisplay for devices which are unable to output sufficient power such as Samsung Dex, Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck.
The espresso Charge connects to Stand Pro via magnets in the top of the unit. It can be connected in the direction that best suits the desktop setup you are wanting to achieve. Once connected, this gives you additional height to assist with ergonomics.
