Remote Rebellion is a community for remote professionals. It runs a Remote Job Academy, a remote jobs board and the Remote Work Secrets newsletter, which shares practical advice alongside a weekly list of genuinely remote roles. The newsletter is written by Michelle Coulson and the RR team.
In this edition, the team looks at what business travellers can learn from experienced remote workers. As Remote Rebellion puts it, business travel is “remote work on hard mode”. With the Global Business Travel Association forecasting around 1.84 billion business trips in 2026, a lot of people are trying to do focused work away from their usual desk, often with limited power, privacy and space.
The article argues there is no single perfect setup. The best remote workers treat productivity as a process: notice what causes friction, change one thing, test it on the road and keep what works. It also covers cutting the time between arriving and actually working, matching your workspace to the task in front of you, and why remote performance is a team responsibility as much as an individual one.
We’re proud to have collaborated with Remote Rebellion on this edition, which is credited to espresso Displays. It’s a practical read for anyone who works between hotels, lounges and client offices.
